Expansion of roads and infrastructure changing Kisumu real estate

Kisumu real estate has grown far much beyond every other sector in the city of Kisumu, Kisumu County. There are several factors that have led to this growth however. Among such factors are such as roads and infrastructure. Expansion and development of infrastructure, as it would be to any other sector, say Tourism or even Fishing, is equally important to the real estate. Ideally, Kisumu city has grown in a number of ways. Talk of the newly built shopping malls such as Uchumi Supermarket, Tumaini Supermarkets, tuff foam mall, west end mall and even Naivas Supermarket that is today flooded with consumers from early in the morning till late in the night. Some of the Supermarkets such as Nakumatt, one being at the city center and another one located along Kisumu-Nairobi road just at a junction heading to New Nyalenda estate, specifically being 24 hour operational, has made it possible for consumers to access their services at any time of the day or even of the night. These, plus others such as Tuskys Supermarket and Ukwala Supermarkets among other wholesale shops like Pramukh and Rahisi have immensely led to the huge development of the city hence convenience to all stake holders.

In addition to the shops and big supermarkets in the city, there are also newly built estates in the city. An estate like Riat, which so far has the most excellent houses in the whole of Kisumu, is the place where middle class people live in. It is a high class and a snobbish place that is well secured and has easy access to the main road. Other posh estates that are still under construction though, are like Milimani West along Busia road and Maseno Gardens, both of which are classy and stylish, and are also well secured and accessible. The face lift done to the already existing estates plus the hospitals are all giving Kisumu real estate more credit, thereby attracting many investors to invest in the County.

Transport is another thing that has to be in place for the success of any real estate business. And this is as well reflected in the Kisumu real estate. One of the things that have wholly revolutionized Kisumu real estate is the expansion of roads in the city. There have been quite a number of roads that have been under construction, the major ones being the Kisumu-Nairobi road, the Kondele bypass and other more that are still under constructions. It is believed that with such developments and many others, Kisumu real estate will continue to nurture and grow to greater heights, and this will result to a total transformation in the entire Kisumu County.
